Seamaster to go alongside Speedmaster...

Hi Everyone,

I have an Omega Speedmaster that i wear every day but I'm quite keen to keep it for formal occasions etc as I really don't want to mark/damage it during every day wear.

I've been offered a used Seamaster full size for £550, I'm put off a little as it's a quartz model. Should this put me off or am I worrying about nothing?

Does this seem like a fair price and does anyone have other suggestions for a durable every day watch?
