Peter Kay tickets

Managed to get myself a couple of Peter Kay tickets the other day. (£38 each). Mate of mine said to order the max possible (8) and sell them on. Didn't think that was fair and just bought the ones I needed. Now found that they're selling for £100-150 each. I didn't want to be selfish when I was buying them, but now thinking who was the bigger idiot!
Could have made a nice, tidy profit. Never had an inkling they'd go for that kind of money. (And no..I'm not selling mine!

)I don't mean to be rude but that sort of thing really pisses me off. I never buy off touts for this reason except when I find an opportunity to take advantage back when they haven't managed to sell them for their £150 profit.
Managed to get Greenday tickets for less than face value and had no feeling of embarrasment as the seller had orignially been trying to sell them for £100 over value.

Likewise... had 2 different laptops trying to get tickets, and it took 45mins. Did manage to get my desired 6 tickets, but not for the Friday though I then found out that the Peter Kay fan club were able to buy tickets from 8am onwards and had snapped most of them up.
Can't wait for next year mind!
Advice for the future:
get signed up to the mailing list, and if too slow check out www.beatthetouts.com as they tend to put the presales on there too.(peter kay link was there)
Be on ticketmaster ready at least 5 mins before they go on sale, they tend to go a few mins early. I got 3 front row next to the stage seats for the first friday with no hassle, all checked out and confirmation email received by 8.01am
Also have seetickets and ticketline open too, as each site has different allocations of seats if no presale.
Only small allocations were released to the fanclub, as only limited seats came up, they held loads back for general
