Did not even know it was on the cards. Well, I knew one was on the cards but was that not a SKY venture mentioned a couple of years back.

Anyhow, while not yet release in the UK it appears as if IMDB viewers have given it a universal thumbs down.

Even they seemed to panic and release the whole lot back to back.

Having never seen the original I decided to give this a chance.

You can tell it's not nearly as polished as other prime time American shows. I'm also not certain whether the audience is supposed to be as confused about what's going on as the protagonist however that's certainly the case for me after seeing the first ep.

It has Ian McKellen in so you'd have thought the script can't have been too terrible for him to sign up for it.

The first episode didn't exactly leave me hungering for more.

Haven't seen any more yet so please refrain from spoilers, I thank you.

Sorry, is that a joke and a play on the original plot or the truth?

I suspect it's a joke.

oddly enough, I just noticed this is avaliable on blu-ray, as I was poking around the networkdvd.co.uk site as I try to come to terms with the shocking quality of the billy connolly "audience with" DVD i've just bought, which appears to have been copied from a VHS that's been eaten by a dog. I have a better 15 year old off air-copy on a C-180 somewherefurious
