My 3R dyno-test results
Discussion
Went along to the South West kit car show this weekend and found they were offering a rolling road test to kit car owners. So I popped along and asked if they would test any other type of car, to which the guy said yes!, we can test any car, what have you got?? to which I replied, a Noble, arr no they are tricky due to the under-tray, but we will give it a go................just sign here sir.................which I did
1st graph shows torque as the dotted line and hp the other

2nd graph shows fuel mix as the dotted line and hp the other

It took them around five attemps to get the readings, due to the car being difficult to strap down with damp straps and wanting to tear off into the crowd that had gathered to see the car on the mobile rolling road.
The graph shows the fuel mix is rich, would a remap sort this??
I feel a little disappointed after fitting the new exhaust and fuel pump was expecting a bit more. Since the upgrade the car is quicker but I'm starting to think a remap is in order, do I need to go in search of a "shed of yellow"!!!

the afr is fine
the way to strap a noble is from underneath and onto the outside of the wishbone - easy peasy
a stock one makes around 340 bhp if all is well, so the exhaust has not given you that much, the benefits from the exhaust will come when you push for more power
(p.s Matt from M-tec is as little bit older than 12
)

Yes, your right 15 then lol!!, it was the damp straps that was the problem. 17 extra horses, should be more I feel.

Phil ,
Was this power graph done before you adjusted cam timing? my torque shot up like that to 4000 rpm before i got cam timing and valve spring kit done, it's that torque curve that many people report as giving you a real kick in the back.
Have you got a more up to date one? and can you describe what upgrades were done in order to achieve the power graph, i'm just interested on what affects different setups and upgrades make to the power curves.

The block's standard
Can't remember the full list, but lower compression etc etc Made 400bhp on 0.5bar boost I seem to remember.ThatPhilBrettGuy said:
