330d alloys rubbing?

We currently have a 03 plate 330d sport touring with the 18" mv alloys. 255 tyres on the back. All is fine in normal use, however I did an airport run last night and with 5 up and luggage the inside tyre was rubbing on the roundabouts. Is this normal for one of these things or could somthing be amiss.
