A4 B7 Exterior Door Handle Rattling

Recently my door trim handle fell off so I've got a new one and had it colour coded but I've just gone to clip it back on and its not sitting correct. It has movement instead of sitting firm like the other handles, does anyone know if there's something behind the handle that is missing or something similar?

There's a clip behind that comes loose - I don't know what the official procedure for reattaching is but we've a gangly piece of bent/chopped metal that slides behind to clip it in place. I'm crap at it myself so usually let the techs put them back!

I'm sure someone with fingers less dyslexic than mine will come along shortly to explain how it's done.

I did it. As you put the handle on you need to push the clip behind it with a credit card and it then holds it in place. Easy peasy!
