Hi All,

We are renovating a victorian terrace and are now at the point where we need to buy a cheap kitchen and bathroom. This isn`t a high end refurbishment, we are aiming at the first time buyer market, but on the other hand don`t want a kitchen and bathroom that looks so cheap it puts potential buyers off.

We currently have a quote from a store begining with B and ending in Q for about £2500 (includes appliances, lights, etc...) but have been told we can get more off if we wait for the boxing day sales. The bathroom has been costed at a £1000.

I know many of the pistonhead massive aren`t big fans of said store so I wondered if there are any better places to go and get cheaper quotes or better quality kitchens for similar money ?

I found www.wrenkitchens.co.uk to be very good on price and the quality seems good too.

If its a takeaway kitchen, try Wickes. Houston (gloss white) looks nice with glossy black tops - perfect for FTB market.

Mail me if you want some pics (I'm not touting for business!).
