Has any one got a new HSE 3.0 or 3.6tdv8 ? If so what are your thoughts are they good ,better than old model?

i would say the build quality is 100% better, i was very unimpressed with the previous model, and the interior is a lot softer and not so industrial, only way i can put it is more like a Range Rover and less like a Discovery, not that there is anything wrong with a Discovery

The Principal at my LR dealer told me that the vast % of new RRS Diesels he sold are the TDv6 3.0 model.

Much better! It's only when you look back at the older model you realise just how much. TDV8 would be my choice, not only for the noice/power but for the Adaptive Dynamics.

Sibby that autobiography is the new HST ? Same body kit no ! Ive seen other pictures where they show a light tan colour two tone interior, not showen on your link!

Got the new 3.0 RRS HSE. Marked improvement over the earlier models. The 3ltr V6 is awesome, v quiet on the inside, packs a great punch 2-3k rpm outside that it is a little wheezy. I chopped in my Disco 3 for thus car and it is light years better, in terms of ride, handling, comfort and style. The TDV8 would be a more interesting car, but with the Dynamic Response the V6 is the better car for the money. New 4.0 TDV8 rumoured for 2011MY, that would put some light between the current V6 & V8 TD's.
