Very good. I must hear "leverage" and "granularity" ten times each a day. banghead

The real problem is when you hear yourself using the same words. paperbag

In my last company, if anyone used one of these phrases he was asked by everyone else to translate it into English!

"How exactly to you retain credibility by talking know bks?"

Its tribal language, "He's one of us, or not". If you're not then tough.

There are plenty of words there that are suitable when used in context. Lots of crap too.

I have my foot firmly in the door at my company. However I'm not "fake" and I don't like any ass'es. I've got there by working hard and trying. Not by talking in some stupid Lingo.

If you knew my reputation you wouldn't say that....
Its called pragmatism, what game are you trying to win?
Are you winning? Do you know how to win? Do you have a global role, worked/lived in several countries, known as an expert in the field, enough money to indulge in fun hobbies, nice house, several cars.....

just play "the game"

Unfortunately to a great extent Paul is right. If you don't play 'the game' you are less likely to get what you want or get things done in a bigger company. I have learned that one the hard way. frown

However I do try to talk to people at work without using any bullst bingo words. My team take the p!ss if any of the 'management-bks-speak' creeps in, and rightly so!
