So they're decent quality? Reliable?

They're part of the Swatch group these days (a great shame, given their excellent history, but at least the name survives) and use ETA movements, so should be plenty reliable. I personally like a lot of them, but not as much as I like Oris- purely taste, though. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't be of comparable quality.

That's a great watch first saw it at Nice airpot - that exact watch and it is a lot of watch for the money. Got me into Hamilton and now we have a his and hers ventura!

thanks for that. I've got my eye on an Oris Atelier too, but I like the look of the orange Hamilton. I'd buy an orange Citizen instead though, if the Hamilton wasn't well thought of.

Movements aren't too important to me because I'm all about style not susbtance....

That Hamilton Base Jump is interesting for the chrono activation via the bezel.

On my wrist today:

Hamilton King Khaki Scuba.

VERY robust, and in a year's worth of ownership thus far, very reliable too.

This is my watch. Looks exaclty the same to me as yours except the orange and the hour numerals. Prefer the orange version.

Mine has a view back. Gets a lot of possitive comments when viewed closely by others.

Mine came with leather (you can get them with bracelet, ruber or leather) which is comfortable howver I changed the strap for this directly after trying it on so couldnt really comment

I've had a look at these myself. The orange faced air-race looks good 'in the flesh', and seems to be a decent quality automatic for not-a-lot of money at all. Do it!

That bezel is remarkably similar to my Seamaster:

Shared parts bin? scratchchin

It's the 'serrations' I mean... I thought them quite unusual so surprised to see them here.
