Here's a guy in the US who added the 968 vario cam technology to the 4-valve 928 heads (which are almost identical to the 968). Talk about a "major undertaking"!!!!

To the readings I can remember it was quite of a nerve-consuming project.
I hope he eventually gets what he is looking for, as the latest dyno results did not really please him apparently.

I'm just glad to see the guy back on the road. With all that work, there needs to be a reward.

In theory, if the 968 produced what, 247-hp in normally aspirated form, the 928 should be able to almost produce twice that number, but I didn't see if the crank and/or pistons on that motor were modified to make it a 6.0.

There are many 928 cars running around with over 400-hp, and it's a fairly well known formula. It's called a wad a cash, ha ha. Here's a link to the Devek page, and take note of the "DYNO ROOM" section, where they're running a 450-hp+ 928 motor. In case you didn't notice, Marc and Susan are both members of the 200-mph club, they're well known in the unlimited road racing community.

PS: I've been in their record holding "white car". It is a beast.
