Edwards AFB airshow

[Mick Dundee mode]That's not an air show. THIS is an air show.[/Mick Dundee mode]
I just found lots of nice pictures of planes from an air show at Edwards AFB and thought some of you might appeciate them. What an amazing show. It's a shame we don't have anything on this scale in the UK.

Nice selection of pictures. The light levels at Edwards are obviously really good which helps bring out a lot of detail in each shot. Even the light reflected off the ground is enough to illuminate the underside of the B-2.
He's a good photographer but a bit wolly on some of the aircraft.
The "Kates" flown by the Commemorative Air Force are largely Vultee Vindicators, not Harvards.

Spent the the week working at Farnborough Air Show in 2008...Was driving over from work (Nr Reading) one afternoon and had the roof down ( MGF) heard something, looked up... was overflown by the F22 flanked by a pair of F15's... Flying into Farnborough for the checking out of the display for the show.
My first ever glimpse of the F22... and due to IAT being cancelled, I believe it was the first in the country....
