A guy i work with (32) has not seen, nay, not HEARD of the Python film 'The Life of Brian'

How did he get to 32 and avoid it?? I thought it was the (unwritten) law for all men to not only watch it but know the script!

I offered my copy for him to watch, but he wasn't interested yikes
Anyway, cue my other colleague & myself for the next half an hour going through the script...hehe

We're wetting ourselves - he's sitting there staring blankly. rolleyes

Some people.

Friday night, a few mates, copious amounts of beer.......perfect. biggrin

Ok, it's not for everyone....but at least the majority...surely??

"He's not the Messiah.. he's a very naughty boy" laugh

"How shall we fk off oh Lord?" hehe

"Welease Woderick".....rofl

"It's a joke name sir, like Biggus Dickus, or Sillius Soddess"....rofl

'Life of Brian' and 'Holy Grail' should be on the national curriculum.

It's amazing the number of people who have not seen them.

Not overly keen on any of the Python stuff. And the office jesters who reel off huge swathes of script are just saddos.

I've seen half of it. I couldn't take anymore and had to switch it off, it wasn't for me.

I've never seen it either, used to know people who quoted it constantly and I think that just put me off watching it.

It's rubbish, isnt really that funny, but certain people (Sheep) think is cool to watch then talk about. Those people that watch it probably dont find it funny, but because their mates watch it, feel they have to watch it too.

It should be the parents responsibility. Like when they have "the talk" about using condoms or when your dad buys you your first razor. Watching Python films should be the same.

I'm 35.

Only ever seen a few minutes of Monty Python & didn't find it remotely funny.

There is an incredibly small number of people at my work who have seen any of the Python films. They all know Fawlty Towers but have never looked beyond that.

I can't watch the "Fish Slapping Dance" without collapsing into a messy heap of giggles. One of the few things that make me laugh every single time I see it.

My wife just doesn't get it, can't see anything humourous in it at all.

Should I leave her?
