Monza F1 Tickets
Discussion
Hey All,
A while back I posted on here asking whether anyone knew when the Monza tickets went on sale.
Well it looks like you can order them from websites like easygpt http://www.easygpt.co.uk/index.asp?pageid=WWW_EASY... but not on the official http://www.formula1.com/tickets_and_travel/ site.
Has anyone bought from places like easygpt? Are they legit? It seems a bit odd that the offical F1 site does not have tickets yet.
Thanks!

I ordered tickets from formula1.com for the 2007 race. You had to collect the tickets from a car dealership outside the circuit which was a complete PITA to find. If you can find someone who will send them direct to you it would be worth paying a few quid extra.
2007 was a nightmare, the booth moved to a much more convenient location for 2008 and 2009I think this is the official site:

Right one last question for you all
Standing tickets - whats Monza like for sitting on a hill and watchting it all go by?
Are there many places you can sit (non grandstand) and see the action?
Thanks!
Blimey a 5 year old thread!

However as it may help some, there arent really any banks or hills to watch from, but lots of standing areas either trackside, or the run up to the Ascari chicane is below your feet.
Theres a fair few free mini bleacher stands dotted around, we used the Ascari one. People clearly just stayed there all weekend and people seem to sleep in the circuit though I cant figure out how they managed that!
Anyway, the atmos was great, people were drunk but not abusive at all. Saturday we walked 3/4 of the lap, and on Sunday managed to squeeze onto that stand again. Italians being Italians have all sorts of clever ideas, including dragging logs to the fence to stand on!
The walk through the park to the track is beautiful and walking down to the banking a treat too.

From that link:[quote] Half an hour in and it felt like time to take a wander so I headed anti-clockwise around the track and to the entrance of Ascari, where a public terrace had proven a popular spot and I could immediately see why. The drivers approach really very quickly indeed, before jumping impossibly late onto the brakes, hammering it down a couple of gears and hurling the cars across the kerbs. With the possible exception of standing on the outfield at the entrance to Maggotts at Silverstone, I cannot honestly think of a more dramatic place to watch modern racing cars. The sheer bristling energy is other-worldly. As you gaze in amazement at the ferocity of the cars movements and your ears shake from the exhaust notes, it seems a struggle to believe any human could be in charge of such savagery. Its immaculate and beautiful and violent and compelling all at once. I stand in open-mouthed wonder just soaking up the moment, surrounded by the Tifosi. Welcome to Monza the temple of speed.
