Any F430 owners out there that could help?

I'm about to buy one, but my garage space might be an issue. I can squeeze my DB9 in ok, but the mirrors on the 430 are wider. I can only get dimensions on the web without mirrors, does anyone know how wide it is with them? Worst case scenario do the mirrors fold back manually?

Many thanks.

mine is in for service, otherwise i would go measure it. I think they fold back, never tried. If i were you i would be equally woried about being able to get out -doors are big and with the driving position being low its not easy to scramble out. Definitely put some carpet etc on the walls

Thanks, it's ok though. Double garage with two single garage doors. Reverse in through the right hand door and lots of space to open driver's door.

I think if I was fortunate enough to have your problems (& hopefully I will in a few years' time) I'd be looking at having the garage fixed so you have one big door - will save you a lot of stress at the begining & end of every journey & those mirrors won't be cheap if you snap one.

Good idea, but tricky for reasons I won't bore you with.

The mirrors do fold manually. I can get my Scuderia through a standard width garage door with no problems.

It's certainly a costly experiment - i got my gallardo home, the maths said the car fitted but in theory it's way too tight to squeeze - 5k, a new RSJ and plenty of hard work later i've got 1 big door instead of 2

My garage has two single doors, a clear opening of 2100mm and an overall width of 2610mm once through the doors. All the extra width of the garage is on the drivers side if I reverse in allowing (just) to open the door and get out although it helps if I leave the window down when getting out.

It is a squeeze but with the mirrors folded in once the cars hips are through the doors and with me holding my breath it does fit.

Good Luck!!!!smile
