Red DC-3

Does anyone know of a bright red DC-3? One flew over today.

Also noticed a pair of twin jet-engined airliners flying overhead in a loose formation. White with red tails. Never seen that before.

One of the Air Atlantique DC-3 based at Coventry is painted red, but is quite distinctive as it has a large white bulbous contraption hanging under the nose, as it's used on a radar trials contract.

Are Air Atlantique still based at Coventry Airport? I wonder how they are managing seeing as Coventry is supposed to be shut & in Administration now?
