I leave 2009 the same as I started it..just with less £££ and no business of my own......except that I have had the love of a good woman up until today.

What can you do? Mate - if you're at the bottom (which you seem to be) then pretty much anything.
Chuck it all in move somewhere else and start again? Get government help if you need to, financially. Take a path you've always wanted to/never dared to/never even thought about and see where life takes you. Roll them dice, as it were.

I know there are always people worse off than me, but frankly I don't care (when it comes to my feelings). I feel s
t.I had a very priviledged (sp?!) upbringing (loads of money around, latest electronics, new kit etc)...but that doesn't mean I'm happy and I know there are many people worse off than me.
Seriously, growing up, I would have traded everything I had to be happy. Now, I would trade everything I have for her...the only issue is I don't have anything...

I think that has played a part in it...even though I was trying my hardest not to let it.Is it your depression that has driven her away?
I think it all revolves around her relationship with her family (they are very close) and my jealousy of that.
