What are the headlights in the cerb from?

They look very similar to Mini jobs but surely not?

Can you buy higher output versions? Not sure how good they are normally...

there's nothing wrong with Mini headlights. The early Mk 1s were smaller and ran off dynamos and the like. Thats probably where they got an iffy reputation from.

If they are the mini jobs, how hard are they to fit?

They just screw onto a mini, but seem to be sealed onto the Cerb.

Personally, I think that an H4 HID Hi/Lo conversion is the best way forward. Note that I don't actually have the conversion, but it's available from www.hid-online.com

The standard headlights are from a Scania truck.

Hi,

Does anyone know where to get these Scania headlight components from? My reflectors are pretty knackerd, so I thought I'd replace them.

Mine seem to have a Bosch part number on the back......

The www.mod-wise.com is a great and cheap upgrade to the cerbera headlamps, gives you an opertunity to clean the reflectors while your on fitting it.
