Proof is easy, but this is not a Reality TV Show. To the people that know David, it is far far more complex and also highly personal. So, as I said on the Twitter 'info-bullet-train' earlier: "the mundane and sad truth of it all will leach out, everyone wants it to happen at web-speed, be patient world..."
