Colour Combination For Z4 M Roadster?
Discussion
My deal has fallen through on Z4 M Roadster I was purchasing, it was blue with black leather, however found another one but its black with red leather, not seen it in the flesh yet.
Are they as nice in that colour? Also seen red with black leather on the net but don't know if thats my cup of tea.

I'm really surprised by that as i especially sought a Interlagos Blue when i bought mine 3 weeks ago. TBH there are so few that i don't think it will make such a huge diference as it would on other models. From what i've seen having sat nav is prob more important for resale value.http://www.pbase.com/elliot_d/bmw_z4_m

just buy - you won't regret it

I think the two best colours are Interlagos Blue and Imola Red .... but I don't think any of the colours look exactly shabby and can't imagine they make any difference to the price of a car that is quite 'rare'.
Condition even more than spec was an issue for me .... higher spec is always nice but not if the car it comes on is in worse condition than another without that spec ! I bought without Sat Nav as the car I got was very low mileage and absolutely mint compared to the others I looked at ... which was more important for me

Yeah I agree with that. When I bought mine in 2008 the interlagos blue cars seemed slightly cheaper but now it doesn't seem to matter. Everyone is different and prefer different colours.Condition even more than spec was an issue for me .... higher spec is always nice but not if the car it comes on is in worse condition than another without that spec ! If you buy a used claying the paintwork is a good idea makes them look so much better.

That's good advice for any car - it can make the world of difference.daz4m said:

That's what I use.

Try rubbing your hand over a car before/after doing it - you should be able to feel all the little bits beforehand, and it should feel like glass post claying.
There's lots of 'detailing' websites discussing this sort of thing, but be wary - the shiny-ness of a car is inversely correlated with the dullness of its owner!

They are the top two colours on my shopping list I think Black with Red seats is nice too however. Not sure I fancy another black car as the work involved in making it look good is too much..
