Having spent more than I usually do on a couple of pairs of good quality shoes, I figured I'd turn to the good folks of Pistonheads who likely have all manner of expensive shoes in their cupboards to ask - how do you take care of them?
Having gone through all sort of £50-70 "throwaways" over the years, I'm keen to make these last and there seem to be all manner of suggestions of foot trees, brushes and pretty much anything other than "wipe them down with a damp cloth when they get dirty".

Get some good trees for them.
Use good quality polish regularly, can't polish too often.
Just look after them and don't abuse them and they'll last years and be as comfy as slippers!
I did wonder about trees - what do they actually do that simply taking the shoes off doesn't do?Get some good trees for them.
