I just don't care anymore... I might have 2 years ago

but I really have no desire to find out what happens

can we have some facts and lambo engineering and performance stats instead ? A look round the factory ? A profile of mr. Balboni himself ? Or maybe a 20 minute piece on the the history of the Cardington hangars ? How about a glimpse of some of Bedfordshires best country walks ? ANYTHING, just something adult and interesting thats not been done to death already ?

But you have the presence of mind to watch the program, then post on the internet about it saying that you don't care about it

Interesting.

View the rant from a different angle.. what alternative car TV is there? If there was a weekly programme where we got to see F1 drivers racing M400s, Sagarises and GT2s around Oulton Park, Chris Harris reviewing the latest £40k coupés and Walter Rohl as the star in a reasonably priced damm fast car, then Jackal would have no cause to complain smile As it is us petrolheads have no choice but to Sky+ Top Gear and then sit on fast forward in the vague hope that something interested will be said about an interesting car.

Or you could go and do something car related instead of watch TV perhaps? I dunno what the big deal is anyway, I dont watch top gear.......or any TV for that matter.

How about "dont reply on threads like this if you dont agree"

I'm sick of "people" (and you can insert your own term there) rolling out that same tired "if you dont like it" line. Is this the Peoples Republic of Clarksonia. Where no criticism may be levelled at Top Gear?

Anyhow. The Lancia bit was ridiculous. some interesting cars in their history. But not all those there. "fake racing" could have down without. I liked the airship part actually. But I can see why others wouldn't

Oh and why the fk have they started repeating guests? do so few people want to go on nowadays?

I'm sick of people rolling out the same old 'I dont like it' line, I dont care what anyone thinks of top gear, I dont even watch it if you had read my last post.

Oh come on, the airship/caravan thing was ste!

We watch it on the off-chance that they may stick something interesting and car related on.....and........surprise surprise, they did! The Lancia thing was awesome! Sort of made up for all the childish crap they've spewed out over the last couple of episodes.

i read an interview with Chris Evans in one of the supplements this morning

complete with pics of his 250 california

it was far more interesting and gave a far deeper insight into the man than the few jokes that were cracked on the top gear sofa tonight

you cant beat a good old fashioned bit of reading you know !

bring back WHAT CAR and the old TOP GEAR with Noel Edmonds and William Woollard.. thats what I say

The old Top Gear was as dull as dishwater 90% of the time. If I want to know the boot space of a Ford Focus I'll read up on it, it doesn't make good TV. Its only a TV show, no one forces anyone to watch it, I quite enjoy it, I thought tonights episode was quite good.

Lancias bit was awesome (pictures and soundtrack at last) and Hawk were very brave to let them have a(n) HF. or at least the owner was very brave to let JC loose in it and despite all the critiscism you know he still loved it ....sorry I can't help myself getmecoat

rofl What if people do enjoy watching TV though? That's like me complaining that the latest Dunlop guitar picks are no good and you saying "what's your problem, I don't play the guitar anyway". wink

and another thing the Balboni looked and sounded awesome there is nothing else to say of any relevance it's just nice to have an excuse to watch it in motion the airship was just a bit of a fun filler piece .

have to question the sanity of all the white ferraris (nice colour for a fezza but no need to change the colour just for dramatic effect) but can't argue with his taste otherwise .
