My Juicy 5 needs a complete rebuild and the cost of this is almost the same as a Hope X2 brake.....sooooo.....I've upgraded the front to an X2 and I plan to keep the rear with a Juicy 5 until later this year (I've spend faaaaaar too much money this month).

The only issue is it's my rear juicy that's knackered so I need to swap the rear with the front brake lever meaning I have to undo the hose connection. I reckon I'm ok with this (plus I've got an Avid bleed kit), but is there anything I need to change over if I undo the hose? Seals, clips, whatever.....???

Cheers,

BB

You need a new olive/crush connection, and new barbed hose insert.

These are pennies from the LBS, they will probably have a bag full.

(P.S. Just for reference, the X2's are currently a bargain at Wiggle. Using their £20 voucher code which ends today, you can get them for just £129 inc postage!)
