Christmas Themed Photoshop Help Required Please!!
Discussion
Hello All!
YO HO HO!!
The wife has been saying that she wanted to make our own christmas cards this year, with a picture of our new baby, rather than do the usual, and buy some 3 for 2 packs in wh smiths!
Well while I was away she took some pics of, 'her boys', and bought some crimbo card 'photo frames' that take a 6*4 print...
God knows how she got them both dressed up and sitting still, but neither of them look overly impressed!
In my eyes, it needs a bit of sprucing up with crimbo cheer, but I've not got a clue how to do it.
Having seen some of the amazing photoshop efforts on here - especially the, 'M3 in front of a barn' one, I thought it'd be fun if you guys could work your magic on her effort!
It doesn't need to be anything amazing, just a bit of holly/snow etc!
If anyone needs the high-res version, let me know and I'll whizz it over.
MANY thanks in advance everyone,
Andy...

Perhaps I've come over all "Bah Humbug", but I think after the inital shoot, be tempted to re-shoot this one! I think I'd get down to junior's level a bit more, include all the feet in the shot and have a less distracting background. The subject matter is great, even the expressions are fine, but the overall composition doesn't really do it justice.
Right, I'm of to spread a bit more Christmas gloom ...

No probs, thanks for your input!Right, I'm of to spread a bit more Christmas gloom ...
I did suggest this already, but it seems the old adage of not working with children or animals was very true whilst she was taking these pics
So my idea didn't go down that well. The problem is I'm only home when it's dark, and we're using a pretty average camera - so it needs to be done when there's some natural light, which would mean her doing it herself again, and she's not too keen on the idea of going through it all again!
TBH She's happy to use what we've got, but I'd at least like to give it a bit of 'bling'!!

Because the subjects are both looking at a fixed point to the right - ie that is where she's snapping her fingers or waving something. Hence she is holding the camera in her left hand

You can't hold our camera left handed because it has a very defined grip on the right! she was actually throwing a teddy bear up in the air to get their attention, and knowing how she throws, the teddy could have ended up ANYWHERE!!

Ah indeed; I thought it was taken with a compact, which is easier to use with either hand.I think we have the making of a Columbo plot here - I can see him picking up the teddy bear and looking quizzical...
