Morning all,

Will be picking up my new car in a few weeks and the bodywork is a little rough around the edges. Few small dents, couple of scratches through the paint and some rusty bits

Long term plan will be for a respray but until then would like to tidy it up as much as possible.

Is it possible to paint/laquer a patch on the paint (aerosol) and then machine polish to "blend" it in?

Have a lot of experience with spraying from aerosol but not with machine polishing!

Cheers
G

shouldn't be a problem if you have some experience. You can get both 2k aerosol laquer and aerosol fade out thinners on ebay, which should make life easier for you...

Im fairly experienced with paint but not polishing, though willing to learn.

Knew about 2k aerosol laquer but not the fade out thinners, will have to look that up.

Would it be possible with a DA, even if it took a while?
