I think the Lp550 Balboni has already addressed the Scuderia.. any new Gallardo out from now will be in direct competion with the new Ferrari 458 which has raised the game again...
I agree, it needs to have the 458 in its sights - technology with these cars is moving on. Autocar tested the £105k new Porsche Turbo and it constantly did 0-60 at 3.2 seconds! Also does 0-100 in Zonda/SLR eating times. I would personally have thought they need/should release an all new model to be honest. New Mclaren will be no slouch either.

i think the existing Superleggera sits along side the scuderia so if the do release another it will be up against the 458..
having personally taken delivery of a superleggera a couple of weeks ago i cant see how they could improve on it, certainly better than the existing LP560 and the interior is at least much better than the new balboni (cant coment on the driving yet obviously).
i think we'll see a LP570-4 SV next.

Can't confirm too much for obvious reasons, but CAN confirm that the forthcoming SL won't be the last we see of the current Gallardo!
Did you mean to say it will be denoted SL or just a figure of speech? Dealer rumours I hear are that it will be an SV...? Or maybe SL first then more powerful 2wd SV for when FGB scud arrives?AndrewD said:

I have two titbits of information about Gallardo in 2010 so far. Will know more next Tuesday but PM me or call me at work 01213064007 if you like to keep in touch!
All the other websites are saying 580bhp 4wd and it looks like the Super trofeoGassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
