Feeling young and impatient; an awful lot of cars i'd like to own some day. Anyone got ideas on what sportscars / supercars are excellent value-holders these days for short term ownership/resale?

Not different enough from my current car, so not an option.

everything seems to be riding high in terms of values right now so i would be wary about prices dropping

a 360 stradale or a 996 gt3rs might be a good bet... the later 430 scud and 997 gt3 rs are a little less exclusive than the previous models so may see more depreciation...

but what do i know... not much

Hmm, definitely not a countach man, but a 6.0Devil... that's intruiging. Are they holding well then?

put your name down now for a 599 superamerica... i'm sure they will build one and if they do, it will blow every other GT firmly into the weeds...

Wring forum I know, but Porsche 928 values are static. Even if they do fall, there is virtually nothing to lose.

997 GT3.2 ot GT3RS.2 if you can find any.

Unlikely to lose much value in the next 12 months IMO

I think from the car your driving at present I would say go for a used LP560! some good deals out there now with alot of these cars already depreciated by at least 40k.. If you buy smart you will not lose much either!

I do like the LP560. But thought they're right at the top of the depreciation curve. Gonna lose a packet over the next year?

What ever happened to the Gallardo SE? A lot of buzz when it came out, but not much talk anymore. Are they still are sought after car, not much different than normal MY06 G's?

The MY06 gallardo was indeed the same spec as the gallardo se car! your better off with the newer car.. the Lp 560's can be had for around the 115-120k mark if you buy wisely now! so the main bulk of depreciation already had.. what ever path you take on these Gallardo's I would say you'll probably lose a very similar amount! so I would go for the best car which is also the most expensive option to buy and go for the LP560! you'll find the power irrersistable!
