ring your local health authority and ask for a knackered one for your kids school design project. i had 3 of them for an a level thing i was working on. modded one with 6" of suspension travel and disc brakes. loads of fun!

The Joker/Harley Quinn plus one of the other batman baddies for the littlun? That way you can play yourselves off against the inevitable batman cosplayers you will encounter.
