You want a high quality seam-sealer / adhesive like Sikaflex. Plenty on ebay and your local bodyshop suppliers will keep it.
I coated the mating surfaces of the chassis and new floors with Duralac since my floors appear to have suffered from differential metal corrosion, then seam-sealed all the inner joins once all the new rivets were in. My floors are now totally waterproof.
Duralac only comes in 1 litre tins, so if you want some, PM me and i'll send you my part used tin. Just send it back when you've finished.

Is that a sheet form of conductive mating. Its funny as I'm sure we use that when bolting down our very expensive equipments to the payload satellites. lol
