X50 is the Performance upgrade... it makes the car more desirable, but I dont know if it will earn you more back come ultimate resale.

You can get more bhp than the X50 for less then the X50 with aftermarket mods, but you will risk your warranty.

Personally, I would opt for X50, just for warranty reasons.

As for others, well Sat Nac is standard now iirc... The Tubos come with dropped suspension already, Personally, I will be chooseing savaghan interior, and thinking over the Ally pack...

Get the Wind Deflector for the Cab.. personally not a fan of the hardtop, but can see its usages for winter.

Nasty Waiting list times atm, I had hoped to be able to snag a good deal with the rumours of ppl dropping orders.. but seems I am still looking at 9 mths for a CAB TT if i wanted one. (tho i havent pushed 'that' hard yet)

Crested Head Rests, and if you wanna splash out, leather covered controlls.. personally I enjoy the sports seats, but I know others prefer the heated electric comfort ones, with the associated Wing Mirror Dipping.

Oh, and Aerokit.. but thats subjective.

Hope you enjoy it

wind defelctor and sat nav now standard (ditto xenon h/l and a few other bits).
There is another 20mm suspension drop (called sports suspendsion in the price list).
Personally not a fan of ally etc interior kits - plain black leather inside solid black.
One disappointment: aerokit not avaialbe for cab.
Been on waiting lsit for 18 months - was looking at September but just offered an April slot...
Will factory collect and call at the 'Ring on the way home - cant wait!!

Although not having driven both I would definitly go for the X50. Buster and Rich1231 have driven both. Buster went on to buy the X50, Rich is currently running a standard car, but his next one if another turbo will be an X50 version.

If you are intending to do the occasional track day steer clear of the PCCB brakes. They are very costly to replace and they do wear out if tracked. If you do a search on this forum of "PCCB" you will come up with a thread with PCCB as the title, this thread provides a link to a rennlist discussion where owners have experienced problems.

This thread may prove interesting from when Rich1231 was looking at speccing a turbo cab:

Enjoy your speccing!

Is it just me or do 911's lose their looks when they lose their roof?
The coupe's look SO much better! I could understand owning a cab if you lived in Florida, but......
