Just read the Mondeo thread in Reading and thought I'd put another heads up, my ex called yesterday to say someone/some people had tried to steal his 205mi16, attempted to force the bonnet up (luckily it had locking bonnet pins) and 2-3 nuts were missing from each wheel and there was some bricks in the bushes so something must have spooked them (tried to steal the car had trouble since it has fuel cut off etc) then moved on to the wheels. This was in lower earley so heads up. Also a couple of years one of my cars was stolen from lower earley which anyone who knows the area is an "ok" part of Reading furious fed up of pikey chav scum, same sort cleared my house out last year too (sod's law meant it was between renewing house insurance aswell!)

Can I also add that some fapping barsteward also tried to steal our saxo from the drive last night. They screwdrivered the passenger lock out. there was nothing in it to take apart from the car and now I have a nice £150 repair bill.
Make sure you don't leave anything in the car that looks like xmas pressies.

Jesus, this is worrying.

I may try parking the car right down the end of the drive now after this.

Not sure what the "lol" is for but anyone who know's Reading know's L.E is a pretty nice area in comparison, but then that's more of a "scum don't st on their own doorstep" factor really isn't it.

My car is 100mi away from me, in a locked garage, even if someone did try to steal it they wouldn't get very far as it probably won't work, sometimes having an unreliable French car is a blessing in disguise!

Just saw that, as I said, sometimes French cars can have up-sides!
