I cant believe it. You watch the news every day, and it always seems to be about places far away, or nothing to do with you, and then bang !

Charles and Beverley Porter on the 6 o'clock news talking about their son Luke Porter, being held along with 4 other sailors in Iran.

My wife works in a hotel for Charles and Bev.

Seems kind of wierd watching something so close to home being reported all over the news !

that is all smile

They'll be fine, if they weren't killed whilst being "arrested". Typical Iranian Sabre Rattling IMO. They'll hold them for a month and then release them as a gesture of good will; turning it into a media opportunity.

What, like the people they've held for FOUR so far?

I don't trust them.

They'll be fine.

They'll all be given some '80 suits to wear possibly and an ipod and a parade on national Iranian telly and then released by kindly old uncle Ahmadinjad in time for Christmas.

You're a lawyer - your distrust is natural. It's an artefact of nature and nurture. A bit like homosexuality.

Well they are American, and the Americans have been picking up people and leaving them in Gitmo for years... They can hardly critisise.
