My house currently has aincient milled wooden guttering in need of replacement. I think you can get uPVC with same dimensions but I cannot see anything on www. I can't see anyone selling the wooden stuff either.

It's only two straight 5m runs with no downpipes so I don't really want to pay a firm to install it.

Whatever I replace it with needs to be very similar as it will need to marry up with next door's old wooden stuff. Any suggestions?

You have to work out the profile shape and a lot of companies will have a stock of joins to marry them up.

It's not that. The stuff I'm after has a double skinned/extruded type construction to give it the necessary thickness. Failing that, proper wooden ones would do if they aren't too expensive.

On a guttering note, can anyone suggest a good supplier of plastic guttering that looks like the old fashioned cast iron stuff?

Both Brett Martin and Polypipe do a range of PVC Guttering to look like Cast Iron. We do both, but the Brett Martin one looks better.
Give them a ring and they'll tell you your nearest stockist. Brett Martin 01246-280000, Polypipe 01709-770000.
