Im not sure whether to be the first to say "We're here to help" or the first to say "well get on and do it then".
I'll sit on the fence and say call the samaritans. You can feel better about most things if somone listens to you. And thats what they do.

I suggest dialling before reading the rest of your thread. We're not known for our sympathy.
ETA: Predictably, I wasnt first to say either. Damn you thalidomide hands!

it would stop all the pain...
Because tomorrow you could meet someone, or next week or next month.....where as what are you going to meet in an alley...V8mate maybe? I know which I would choose.it would stop all the pain...
Now log off, and go to bed....cry yourself to sleep if you need to. Tomorrow is a new day

Apparently the best way to do it is to go up and down the wrist and not across it.
once you've stopped being melodramatic, take yourself off to somewhere like a homeless shelter or hospice and help the people who truly have something to be depressed about, it will soon put things in perspective

I had that winter vomiting bug/gastroenteritis thing at the weekend.
All the taps were fully open all night. I prayed for the Lord to take me, he must have been out as well that night.
Come to mention it, i might have seen him in the beer garden earlier that evening.
It all turned out OK at the end, and at both ends of the end.
You should be happy for me!

No it wouldn't. It would stop YOUR pain. What about the people you'd leave behind? Don't you give a sit would stop all the pain...
t about the pain it would cause them or how it would f
k them up? If you really wanted to do it, you wouldn't be posting on PH and responding to the replies - what you're really saying is you need help. Phone a friend, phone the samaritans, go see your doctor.
This will all pass, whether you believe it right now or not.

The Samaritans use an 0845 number? Christ, if they did manage to stop you topping yourself it would only be until you got your phone bill I'll sit on the fence and say call the samaritans. You can feel better about most things if somone listens to you. And thats what they do.

OP, things are never quite as bad as they seem. Good luck
