I'm about to derunflatificatorize my ve-hicle, by which i mean i am intending to replace my run flat tyres with 'ordinary' ones (Falken 452s, don't tell me they're st as i've ordered them already)

The rear runflats have 2-3mm left and one is losing pressure slowly, but the front 2 are fine (4-6mm). I'm replacing all 4 because, its-the-right-thing-to-do-for-hard-working-families or some such

I was curious if the front runflats ones are worth anything? should i keep them and try to sell them on ebay?

Stick them on ebay. You could get £25 each for them...

You should be more concerned about what you'll do when you get a puncture as you won't have that spacesaver!!

Do BMW's with run flats even have a space to store a spacesaver???

My 535d runs on 19's but are not run flats and my car does have a spare..

a compressor and a couple of cans of tyre weld seems to be the done thing.

Best thing I did to the run-flats on the 130, and yes I've got 452s as well. Compressor and Tyre-Weld do for me (oh and a breakdown cover for when the tyre is f*cked).

Sticks.

FWIW if you trade in the car at some point, BMW will knock the price of a set of new tyres off your value if you've no runflats. Could be worth keeping.

I'd go and buy a Jaguar if they did that.

Just back from the tyre place - what a difference in ride quality! Wish i'd done it last year

You are joking aren't you?

BMW dealers are too stupid to notice, after all one of them sold an AUC with run-falts on one axle and normal tyres on the other.....
