SL issue

I currently have an SL280 Registered 2000.

Recently when i have been trying to start it up it just seems to turnover and then it eventually clears itself. Is this an easy problem to resolve myself?

Definitely no expert, but this time of year is when many folk find they need new HT leads and sometimes coil, plugs and battery too.

The first cold snap killed my battery last year, but it sounds like yours is turning over okay, so I'd go spark plus & coil leads.

Could be the OVP relay at fault. Does the car turn over but not start? Once going, does it run ok?

Replace your crank shaft position sensor, does it happen more often when car warm.
