Anyone got any good recommendations for nice pub/hotel somewhere in the South of England, or maybe coast etc

Thinking quaint village situation......romantic walk, roaring fire, four posters etc etc

mate - that is fantastic - and almost just what i'm looking for. The only problem is I live about 10 miles from it

which doesn't absolutely rule it out - but........it would be nice to get slightly further away
