I wouldn't swear to it (as the part numbers listed are different) but I have a sneaking suspicion they are the same as the M-Tech ones fitted to the E36 M3 and 328i Sport.

I'm not 100% but ignore the actual cars/colours here but taking a look at these pics?

Also, when you check on realoem.com the description and even the line drawing that comes up for both is the same just the part numbers appear to differ.

They did the same with the rear spoiler available for these cars i.e also fit the E36!

They e31 and e36 mirrors are NOT interchangeable. The base plates are different on the 8 and these are not available to buy seperately.
