I think it depends on what you're doing and what you feel comfortable in. I always wear shorts and a tshirt, others wear trousers but those tend to be the chubby ones that have no interest in cardio activity and sit on the weights bench the whole time!

I expect it's a bit hot cycling, cross training, running etc in tracksuit trousers.

Most blokes in my gym are in shorts and t shirts and trainers. Some wear sleeveless t shirts.

Shorts, T Shirts and Trainers.

I wouldn't really fancy getting sweaty in Tracksuit Bottoms.

I can't really think of anything else anyone would want to wear.

Get yourself some of these bad boys:

Seriously though there is always a fair mix of clothing in use. You have a range based on what people are more into. The runners are in running shorts. The people who mix it up are normally in shorts but longer ones. Some people opt for trousers but that's normally light cardio or weights. If it's just weights your into it can be good to keep warm and up to temp at this time of year.

T-shirts are fairly universal. Some opt for the more skin tight stuff which is generally more wicking so doesn't get big damp patches like a normal cotton T shirt. Then some are in the wife beaters but generally the bigger lads. It isn't necessarily a show off thing but it's useful to get a bit more articulation when you get a bit more bulk.

You wouldn't go wrong with some clean runners, longer shorts and a sport brand T-shirt.

Shorts, t-shirt and trainers. Try and refrain from super short shorts (talking from experience) they do not go down too well. If it is an 'upmarket' gym then i would recommend trainers that are well looked after and not totally shagged.

Never understand tracksuit bottoms in the gym unless the place is REAL cold....its like wearing a jumper on your bottom half! Shorts and T shirt.

Tracksuit bottoms = my legs look weak.

Nothing special, old tracky bottoms, t-shirt, hoodie.

Hoodie comes off once warmed up properly.

I wouldnt be too bothered about what you wear, your in there to train, as long as you arnt dirty your hot to trot.
