Had Yoko sommitoranother (A088 might have been 022????) when I first got the 400. wasn't happy with them and after the engine was, er, breathed on the back end spent more time trying to go around the front of the car in the wet. Great in the dry. This wasn't exuberance in the right foot department, engine being run in at the time and all that. A gentle shift in speed, same gear, from 30-40 and off it would go for a wander. So I went for Bridgestone and boy what a difference wet and dry.

Won't be using them as they are only VR rated.. so no good on the SEAC.

Struggling to get Z's in a decent make so I've ordered them. They're 90 squid each all in with vat & delivery. I'll give them a good 'scrubbing in' at the weekend & report back. biggrin

I've been running NEXEN 245/45R16.94W N3000's on the back as a stand-in while I wait for some more Proxes to arrive in the UK. They were only 60-odd quid each so it was worth a punt, and actually they are quite good. There's only one place where I have to feather the throttle over the Toyo's on the drive to work, and they also did quite well in the torrential drive back from TiTT the other week, with standing water and the like.

Well I can confirm they are very grippy indeed. Rears are very reluctant to light up in the wet, very impressed. Can't wait for my suspenders & bushes to come, I'll have a car that can sit & grip. driving
