d530d estate probs starting when hot

Gents

I have a 5 series 3.0 diesel est in france (french plates) i had to have a starter motor replaced and then 24hrs after getting it replaced I had to get another and another 4 days without car

It came back from franch garage and all went well until sunday went to friends stayed an hour and car wouldnt start waited 2hrs and it started

Drove home about 25kms and switched off tried to start and couldnt starter turning so this is diff prob

2hrs later she started any ideas or hints to want to check

Sounds like the presupply fuel pump to me.

FoxI did think this as when i was trying to start it the rev counter was moving hinting the engine was trying to spin and turn over

what i can understand is a had a starter motor replaced and 24hrs later it had failed and I needed another one!

Thanks fo the feedback - im just trying to get some ideas before i head back to france and take the car to BMW
