Hot Start and Green Electrodes ....
Discussion
Dear all ....
My hot start niggles have returned once again! Having tried a number of different method of getting the old girl going I am a little puzzled. As with last time the car is fine from cold and now chokeless but intermintently would start when hot, with or without a gobful of fuel. The starter tries its best but if feels as though it isn't getting fuel to throw itself over.
Interestingly I pulled the dizzy cap off and found a fair amount of condensation and a lovely coating of light green build up over all of the electrodes. I am guessing this isn't helping things at all. I am not convinced however that this is the source of my problem given that it starts from cold without any fuss.
Any thoughts gratefully received ...
Cheers
