Not that im in bigger is better and im quite happy with a bottle of Vollereaux 70cl, but this is rediculous.

IIRC, wine actually keeps better in larger volumes, so there is a certain logic to it.I mean champagne in a normal sized bottle can be a b!tch to pour, especially if you've had a couple already. I can see half of that party bottle ending up on the floor. Or is that just my parties?
