Perfectly fine to do. I booked a flight from Mumbai to Goa with Kingfisher and Goa to Mumbai with spice jet.

Perfectly fine - but with most standard carriers the price of a single is often around the same price as a return (and sometimes more!).

Oh what a disappointment I thought it was a dumb fight question.

I'll put my chuck norris knowledge back in it's cage.

You'll often find the stupidly cheap prices offered are for one-way flights only so it sometimes makes sense to buy the cheapo deal flight and find someone else to get you home again! I did this going to Barcelona with Ryanair on the way out from Manchester and Jet 2 back to Leeds Bradford!

Note that BA will charge in CHF for the return flight so make sure you check those exchange rates.

no probs, we do it all the time, we have a place on the algarve and frequently fly and return using different carriers, just make sure you fly back to where ever you left the car laugh
