Another bloody water leak
Discussion
How is it that just when I get the car behaving (I say that instead of "perfect" because it never is
) it goes and lets me know it's the one who makes the rules and not me.
This evening I pulled the car out of the garage and had it left ticking over to warm up when I noticed water on the ground under it.
Back into the garage and over the pit to take off the cover beneath the engine and I discover that the rubber water pipe coming from the bottom of the block has split ..... again.
It happened about 18 months ago as well with the same hose.
Luckily I have a box of old hoses I've colected over the years and a section of one of them fitted perfectly so I'm sorted and running again.
Now I'm wondering is it actually worth the money for the set of silicone water hoses I've heard of on here in the past.
So, what is everyones opinions on these silicone hose sets?
Are they worth getting?
