Only ever been on business, so time off was limited. However, if you want a good steak head to the Rodeo Grill inside the Beach Rotana hotel and order their fillet steak mmmmmmmmmmmmm

As per Mac, I've only been there on business...so hotel - office, etc.

Are you going for business, on your own or with family?

How about a visit to Dubai? It's only an hour up the road and Mrs C and I would be happy to show you around.

Oh, ok. Well, if you'd rather save a few quid, plenty of double rooms at Che Chilli, in Dubai Marina!
Loads of things to do & see in Dubai...some of it nice/interesting, some of it a waste of time/money....but you won't be bored.

Been to Rodeo Grill at Al-Bustan Rotana, Dubai. Their steak is indeed fantastic. lick

Even better at the top floor restaurant at Habtoor Grand hotel, also in Dubai.

And lastly Al Qasr hotel does a great buffet in the evening, and there's always nice metal outside. yes

Only been to AD once for the day so don't really see anything spectacular.

HYave you booked hotel yet?

If not I can recommend the Crowne Plaza Yas Island - newly built next to GP track, slightly in the middle of nowhere, but taxis are cheap - and the place is really nice, much better than a normal CP.
