Is this possible or worth while. Will be changing flights there soon on my way to Australia. Am after a Canon zoom, will it be much cheaper?

Thanks, G

In my experience, the prices at HK airport are similar or higher than prices you can buy things for in the UK (especially internet suppliers).

If you have more of a stopover, you can haggle on Nathan Road, but be very wary of the sharp extra sell practices they operate - recently back from HK myself, with a couple of bargains, but a lot of chasing shadows aswell!

Cheers Bradders.

+1

Great service from them.

But keep an eye on their prices as they seem to fluctuate up and down quite a lot with the exchange rate. For example, I bought a Nikon 17-35 zoom lens in late 2007 for £220 less than it's currently being advertised for. But that's still substantially cheaper than any of the UK advertised prices.

Its only a stop over so no chance of getting to any shops. I know the price here of the lens I want, so will see how it compares.
Thanks. G
