Bit of an odd one, but in heavy rain our Mondeo's driver footwell fills up with water. It doesn't have a sunroof and it's parked on fairly level ground.

I know sometimes theres a common fault with something or other, wondering if anyone else has had it?

I have changed the pollen filter recently, but the N/S is bone dry and the car is parked level. I hope I don't have to fork out for someone to remove and refit the screen in case it's been done badly in the past!

Nevertheless, it is worth checking the pollen filter. I gather they can sometimes be put in kinda back to front and don't seal properly.
