here

Crossing from path in bottom left to road between trees top right.

Out for lunch and heading back to work. Was crossing first carriage and watched the cars go past then started walking (only need to look right, obviously), luckily, for some reason I decided to look left, there was a car fking barrelling down the road in the wrong direction, followed by 2 police cars (must have been the noise as why i looked left). had to sprint the rest of the way across the road and into the thorns in the middle. There is a little gap in the bushes in the centre to walk through, but because car was so close and moving so fast I had to run at an angle to make sure he didnt hit me.

HOLT st!!!! my heart is in my mouth. Think I will have to go to the toilet to clean myself up

Is "wet and wild" any good or is it just another dissapointment like the adult clothing section in Sainsbury's?

could've been nasty, but all the more reason for a post work drink wink

i had an incident a few weeks back. a car had gone past me and was waiting at a junction. no other traffic so i crossed about 20ft behind it, only for it to reverse into me. i tried to get out the wat but ended up doing a kind of hop/skip/jump backwards down the road shouting and banging on the rear window as i tried to keep upright.

he stopped after 10-20ft, wound the window down to look at me [old duffer, easily over 70], said nothing and drove off. charming.

You've had a near death experience, but standards is standards.

Eeerm, well, yeah, its a laugh, just dont go when kids are off school or you'll just end up pulling your hair out, some rides are fun, but the slower ones are clearly built for people who have snake like skin as i got stuck (not in the sides just too much friction with the bottom). hehe

I went there about 10 years ago, they had/have that horrendous looking steep one that's next to the two ones that intertwine. What always put me off going on that was the spinal board they had resting against the wall at the bottom.

the kamikazi - yay.

Went on that when the place first opened and banged my head on the top of the tunnel when going over the edge - then heard nasty rumours about people putting 6" nails through the plastic on the landing bit for when people came down and sliced theire backs open - urban myth i dont know, but I wont go on again, for both reasons
