At the premium end of national racing, the Dunlop Sport Maxx Production Cup and Mini Challenge Club Class use road tyres.

Most production saloon car clubbie championships (such as CSCC Tin Tops, Alfa Production Classes, Production BMWs etc ) and almost all classic/historic saloon series (HSCC Roadsports etc) use road tyres

Road tyres can be a bit open to interpretation though...semi slicks are road legal to and I should image nearly all clubbie racers run on those.

Suppose the below has come from you then Jason, using the links Stacy gave above.

Might be worth checking the regs of the series that you email before sending the email.

Hello
I am in the process of starting a new small business (mobile and in premises) doing tyre shaving with a new machine i have designed and built. The machine is CNC controlled and designed for accuracy and and high volume at a low price.
I am based in Nottinghamshire and I am looking to be running early next year. I am currently in the process of looking for contacts or feedback from anyone who may be interested in this service.
Any responce will be highly appreciated.
Many thanks
Jason Pitchford

I think everyone racing on road legal tyres who's serious about it will be using buffed tyres for the dry already. Its quite easy to do it yourself, obviously paying for someone using a proper machine to shave them will be better but I personally dont think its worth the extra cost.
